Redefining Resilience
Artists In Motion is a Black Led, Black Focus, and Black Serving dance company that creates works to motivate present and future generations to use their voices to shed light on the issue of social justice and the perspective on Black Culture. This project investigates the act of resistance and survival while celebrating and honouring Black joy and pride within our communities. "Throughout the piece, we begin to struggle, but we aim to be thought-provoking in viewing black resilience and resistance. We have much to say, to discover, and to offer; using our art allows a gateway to healing as a community."
